這個晚上發生了很多事, 考驗了眾人的團結
相信大家都成長了, 冥冥之中人控制不到的事還是需要依靠祂
你說這只是找個心靈依也好, 人就總不能處理所有問題
感性中也相對地有著自己的理性,

Problem solving approach is not always the solution when the matter is out of our hands, emotion solving approach may fill in the gaps which the former fails to.

想要看全個到Moraine lake

爬山上去
都挺高的
VC 跟Jamie 輸賭約果Jamie 一分鐘之內怕到頂就贈她十碗糖水….
怎知道… Jamie 54秒就爬到頂了 =____=”

Summer Trip Day 1 – Calgary (Bowness Park)

八月二十號星期四

七點半起床準備上車
一車五人, 車程三小時
中途在Red Deer 停車休息

Red Deer 起程去Calgary 途中見到部Honda Odyssey 物體在高速公路上左搖右擺
嗯嗯, 左搖右擺的Odyssey一定是Uncle Hayez, 打電話給他, 原來後面部車的確是Uncle Hayes 一家
真巧合, 又會同一天同一時間碰到

通過電話大家贊成了吃桃園,
Calgary比Edmonton 多中國人, 所以自然有很多華人餐館, Calgarians 真幸福
我都跟大家說過Edmonton來來去去都是這一兩間, 有幾難吃都要給Tips =.=

今次去了北面的桃園, 上年calgary winter conference 吃了downtown的桃園, 真的不錯
吃了甚麼甚麼白汁甚麼菇飯
整個套餐都跟香港的椰林閣一樣
有包有湯有餐飲
$10元加紙連tips 吃到這樣都要偷笑了 :X

對了Uncle Hayes 一家帶了Bennett & Tiki 一齊來

甚麼甚麼白汁甚麼菇飯 (其實即係金寶湯汁)

這個不錯

吃飽後分散了我hayes 一家去了機動遊樂場
其實這個calgary trip 目的都不是shopping逛街吃喝玩樂
為的是要安靜自己, 親親大自然, 預備九月跟全世界的書才作戰
當然還有是去影相吧!

第一站親親大自然, 到了Bowness park

我想Calgary 除了教育之外
所有交通, 生活, 風景多比Edmonton 好很多
呵呵呵, 看看人造湖!

加拿大很多動物, 松鼠, 白鴿, 鴨子, 就連麻雀都不怕人類
基本上唯一會跑的就是白兔
(Regina: Psyco 281 會學的 lol)

這些鴨真是的,
我拿支16-45mm 影大頭照, 牠們還是懶懶洋的望著地下

其實某程度上我會羨慕這寫智力有問題的人
在自己的世界中無憂無慮
不用擔心會不會被大學開除
不用擔心未來生活
不用擔心吃甚麼喝甚麼
沒有憂慮的生活
是正常人應該多多學習
對了, 請不要confuse worries 與 plannings 這兩個concepts

攝影一週年記念日

It’s been ONE YEAR since I entered the world of photography!

上年的今日, 我得到了第一部單反相機 – Canon 350!
雖然一年對於一個正常攝影生涯來說是甚其短,
但是從而過去這一年學到不少攝影哲理
攝影技術亦大大得到提升

Bible Study @ Uncle Hayes’

Went for a bible study last week at Uncle Hayes’ place
(Right, I will start writing in english again!)

And this time we started with Romans, Chapter 1: 1-8
Had a great time comparing the four gospels descriptions on Jesus’s resurrection.

Fooded after. I can’t remember what these western style spring rolls were called, but they were darn good (mainly because of the salsa) – and with cheese in it.

This is Mr Philip Chow with his roll.
Also taken with 43mm (I think) + flash.

The nature of this photo’s construction is an irony if you look at it from a photographer’s point of view.
Left side we have philip’s funny face and his spring roll, in contrast we have vertical and horizontal lines on the right side, – which usually indicates stabilization. Well not suggesting Philip is not steady; but just this photo being ironic.

Oh God, draw me close to you.

Grandfather’s watch and Macro Extension Tube

Haven’t seen my grandfather for quite a long time, he looks rather aged since last year. Of all sudden, he gave me an old watch, bought back in 1989(20 years…). The color Gold is definitely not my style… but oh well, I am still young…

Bought this macro extension tube like 5 months ago off ebay, this is probably the first time I ever used it =v=

Macro manual focusing is harddddd. I haven’t really tried a auto macro lens before, but the depth of field is extraordinarily narrow using those tubes; move slightly and you get a out of focus image (even at a smaller aperture).

Non-AF Macro extension tubes:
1) Decrease minimum focus distance, by increasing the distance between the camera’s sensor and lens

2) Are Cheap – Unlike the expensive macro filters, cost me like $4CDN (macro filters may have a superior effect afterall, check this out!)

3) Increase a lens’ capability without degrading image quality, due to the lack of lens inside the tube!
