So here is Part 2 of the International street performers festival.
Oh gosh I love pentax and my 50-135mm
Forgot his name, was like Bob something.
Unlike the other street performers, HE is actually doing tricks instead of garbage talks and jokes!
Plus this guy was hilarious!

Balancing Crystal Ball while dancing.

international street performers festival (09)

His moves were so smooth that the cystal ball seemed to float on air.

balance balance and dance on rope.

international street performers festival (11)

Swing Swing. I had to get my aperture down to F14 to capture his motion.

international street performers festival (12)

Last move… amazing

international street performers festival (13)
It was mad crowded, and they were too tall…(or I am too short)

international street performers festival (15)

Last show I watch before leaving…

international street performers festival (16)

This was kinda random…

international street performers festival (17)

Great that’s it. (I only had the time do photoshop the first and last one, but I guess original is OK eh?)

Oh and you guys had probably figured out, I changed my blog theme!
And wow…Almost 7000 unique visitors!

Stay tune for the next post~

Went to international street performers festival last week.
Most photos were taken by my 50-135mm f/2.8.
The sun was so brilliant that I don’t need to do much post-modifications.

international street performers festival

The street performers festival itself is much grander compared to the Finge festival (of course its far greater multinational!)
These street performers have great oratorical abilities,  as the show itself is entirely free, they make their profit from free donations by the audiences.

Well after all, I think I spent $3 dollars in total, 2 for a refreshing lemonade and 1 for the indian magician; how nice was I :X

international street performers festival (1)

The show was boring…This guy and his spiky helmet…
Talks too much.  This is why sometimes I hate street performing, you stand there for 20 minutes, listen to their jokes and only get see something new in the last minute.

This was the street performer which I donated a buck for him. Good magic show.

international street performers festival (4)

How cooprative are Canadians, I bet no one will ever let their bud touch the ground in Hong Kong

international street performers festival (5)
Sword swallowing…

international street performers festival (6)
These are the kinds of photos where you need to take it in an particular angle to create an invisible pressure on your audience.
And yes, street performers like to swallow stuff =.=

international street performers festival (7)These performers were from NYC

Alright, enough photos for today… will update the rest tomorrow.
Now I need to continue writing my gay The Tempest essay thanks to Shakespeare.

In fact, ironically, you will not even have the time to regret afterall.

I don’t understand why.

SO sad - memorti

This was my third attempt trying to get the write my driver’s exam (Written section, class 7). Not that I’ve failed, but in fact I didn’t even have the chance to write it.
First time it was my homestay family’s disapproval, I need their signature due to the fact that  I was still under 18.
And after I moved, turned 18, well prepared; something came up suddenly, didn’t go write it.

And now, this time with  a very well-prepared condition, I failed to go write it.
Just before I step out of my apartment, I realize that I will need my passport.
And I CANT FIND MY PASSPORT! Been searching it for two hours, and right now the registry office had already closed.

So what’s next? Maybe God doesn’t want me to drive.
Sometimes it gets a little frustrating because we CAN’t understand God’s plan.
I hope I find my passport anyways…

Just like you, or any other typical kid, I used have all sorts of youthful furniture in my room.

IMGP1469
I remembered my bedroom was just as large as mine now. I remembered a double decked bed with a unsalted smell of sequoia; a chaste white closet with two lower drawers, having all my precious stickers over on it, a shallow brown desk with a hot black lamp which I use to scrutinize my toys. I had all kinds of fiction books under that desk; I sincerely read them over and over, hoping the righteous prince of Zalo would just magically survive in the end. I remembered my urge to finish the second Harry Potter, even it was five hours later than my friend’s bedtime.

Everything in our room, not only presents our youthful naivety,
but also our precious memory.

Now all my story books are either kept in a paper box deep inside the storage room, or torn apart into the trash
My old furniture must have dumped into the sea, or burned to the ground.
What’s left?

Now I have a box of chemical molecule models under my desk; a key chain with a 4GB flash drive that contains thousands of papers and researches files.
Now I have my Campbell’s  Biology, Nolte’s Neuroanatomy, Thomas’ Calculaus right next to me.
I guess the only story book I have left on my desk is the Harbrace borrowed from the library.
What’s left?

Went for a bible study last week at Uncle Hayes’ place
(Right, I will start writing in english again!)

And this time we started with Romans, Chapter 1: 1-8
Had a great time comparing the four gospels descriptions on Jesus’s resurrection.

Fooded after. I can’t remember what these western style spring rolls were called, but they were darn good (mainly because of the salsa) – and with cheese in it.
This photo was taken by 43mm f/1.9

This is Mr Philip Chow with his roll.
Also taken with 43mm (I think) + flash.

The nature of this photo’s construction is an irony if you look at it from a photographer’s point of view.
Left side we have philip’s funny face and his spring roll, in contrast we have vertical and horizontal lines on the right side, – which usually indicates stabilization. Well not suggesting Philip is not steady; but just this photo being ironic.

shopping shopping

hong kong international airport to canada

hong kong international airport to canada (1)

hong kong international airport to canada (2)

Air Canada

Air canada

Hows your flight?”
Air canada sucks”

hong kong international airport to canada (3)

hong kong international airport to canada (4)

Good deal i guess.

Hong Kong Park
